Internet Not Working?

Complete guide to fix your eSIM internet connection

1

Essential Checks

🔴

#1: Enable Data Roaming

This is the #1 reason eSIMs don't work! Without data roaming, most likely your eSIM won't connect.

How to enable:

iPhone: Settings → Cellular → [Your eSIM] → Toggle "Data Roaming" ON

Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Toggle "Data Roaming" ON

📊

#2: Select eSIM for Data

Ensure your eSIM is selected as the data line

iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → Select your eSIM

Android: Settings → Connections → SIM Card Manager → Select eSIM for Mobile Data

📡

#3: Manually Select Network

Try manually selecting the carrier/network

iPhone: Settings → Cellular → [Your eSIM] → Network Selection → Choose carrier

Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators → Select manually

🐌

Experiencing Slow Speeds?

#1

Choose Network Manually (or Switch Back to Automatic)

This is the #1 issue! Manually selecting a network can improve speeds, or if you're already on manual, switching back to automatic may help.

📱 iPhone:

Settings → Cellular → [Your eSIM] → Network Selection → Turn OFF "Automatic" → Choose a carrier from the list.

To switch back to automatic, turn "Automatic" back ON.

🤖 Android:

Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators → Turn OFF "Choose automatically" → Select a network manually.

To switch back, turn "Choose automatically" back ON.

Other Common Issues:

  • •Connected to 3G: Restart mobile data and try an area with better coverage
  • •Daily limit reached: Check your plan - unlimited plans may have daily high-speed caps
  • •Poor coverage: Try different locations, move near windows, or go outside

Configure APN Settings

If Step 1 didn't help, configure your APN (Access Point Name) manually. Your APN is on your success page (e.g., xdata or internet).

📱

For iPhone

  1. Settings → Cellular → Select your eSIM
  2. Tap Cellular Data Network
  3. Scroll down and tap Reset Settings (⚠️ important!)
  4. Under Cellular Data, enter APN (e.g., xdata)
  5. Leave Username and Password blank
  6. Toggle Airplane Mode on/off, wait 60 seconds
🤖

For Android

Samsung:

  1. Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Access Point Names
  2. Tap ⋮ → Reset to default
  3. Tap + to add APN, Name: "eSIM.dog", APN: xdata or internet
